The primary school in Nure near the town of Moshi, about 25 miles from Monduli, was set up and is run by local subscription as there is no government school in the area. The standard of education in this region is low but there is a great demand and the fees are kept to a minimum because family incomes are low.
There was no kitchen or canteen and the children had to eat outside under the trees.
Cwlwm Monduli has financed the materials for these buildings and the community, including the children, has now completed the construction.
